Montserrat Hospitality Association (MHA) was formed with one of its prime
objectives being to promote
and enhance the development of the hopitality industry on Montserrat. The
MHA was officialy launched on April 2005 and now has a membership of over

Roy McDonald is the owner of Travellers Palm Villa located in Olveston. He has spent many years working in promotions and event management. However before moving to Montserrat he worked in the development and marketing of insurance products for BNP Paribas.( the sixth largest bank in Europe). He has also spent many years travelling and working in the Caribbean and look forward to using his experience to help the Montserrat Hospitality Association achieve it's aims.

Secretary - Melody Schoer

Melody Schroer is the co-owner of The Green Monkey Inn & Dive Shop along with her husband, Troy Deppermann. The Green Monkey is located on the southern shore of Little Bay Beach and is a full-service dive operation, boat tour and water sport rental facility that offers a variety of scuba packages and PADI training courses. Melody holds a Juris Doctorate and practiced law for a number of years before turning her attention to education. Prior to moving to Montserrat she was the Director of Paralegal Studies for Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. She brings to the MHA extensive organizational, training, and marketing experience and looks forward to increasing the visibility and involvement of the MHA in the Montserrat community.

Floor member - Florence Griffith Joseph
(Florence Griffith has been involved in the hospitality industry for several years. She is the owner and manager of Montserrat Moments Inn with locations in Manjack Heights and Baker Hill. She brings to the association a wealth of experience in customer relations and is commited to ensuring that high standards of excellence are achieved in the local hospitality sector.
