Montserrat 2009 Festival Calendar released

BRADES, MONTSERRAT (October 28, 2009) – The calendar of events for Mas,
Rhythm and Rhyme Montserrat Festival 2009 was released this week.

The
packed calendar which runs from December 18 to January 1, 2010 opens
with the Calypso Eliminations at FestivalVillage, followed by the Sir
Howard Fergus Scholarship Dinner at the Montserrat Cultural Centre and
the Soca Monarch show at the village on the 19th.
The Emerald
Community Singers concert will be held on Monday, December 21 at the
Brades Arts and Education Centre, with the Teen Pageant show, organized
by Sunrise Productions on Christmas Day.
The final two days of events include the grand parades of troupes, BINGO and the closing awards ceremony.
