WinAir Has New Check in Area in Antigua

Please note that as of today WinAir has switched from Port Services to
Caribbean Airport Services (partly owned by LIAT) as their handling
agent in Antigua. With this change please note the following:
1. Passengers coming to Montserrat should no longer go to the Port Services Counter to check in for flights to Montserrat.
2.
The new check in area is where LIAT and Carib Aviation is
located. There is a WinAir sign in that area and a designated
line for passengers checking in. A Caribbean Airport Services
agent will do the check in and passengers do not have get into line
with LIATs regular passengers.
3. With Caribbean Airport
Services being the new agent for WinAir, passengers will now be offered
enhanced transfer services. This means that passengers connecting
to Montserrat without any check in baggage and also passengers whose
luggage has been checked all the way to Montserrat will no longer have
to clear customs and immigration and pick up their bags. They
should enter the doors to the right of the airport arrival area (where
the sign says in transit passengers). There is a WinAir counter
there (which LIAT also uses) where a Caribbean Airport Services Agent
will check in and issue the boarding passes to Montserrat. If the
agent is not there for any reason passengers should liaise with the
LIAT agent. Please note if your bags are not checked all the way
through to Montserrat you will still have to clear immigration, pick up
your bags, clear customs and check in at the new counter near to LIAT.

Within the next month or so WinAir will be getting their own counter
facilities and staff for passengers checking in on all their flights.
